Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes' mother Andrea Sinclair has been denied parole.He has also had his request to be moved to an open prison rejected.Speaking of the decision, a Parole Board spokesman said: "We can confirm that a panel of the Parole Board has refused the release of Keith Pollard following an oral hearing in March.

The panel has also refused to make a recommendation for a move to open conditions."Murderer Keith Pollard was sentenced to life in jail in 1998, and reality star Chanelle has previously shared her fear that he could be released.Pollard, now 68, strangled and mutilated Sinclair, who has been working as a prostitute.

He had been her client.The tragic incident took place at his Manchester flat when Sinclair's daughter Chanelle had been a baby.Ahead of the Parole Board's decision, Pollard reportedly told them that he was not yet ready to be released but would prefer to be moved to an open prison.The prisoner, who had been convicted of another murder in 1972, reportedly had low self-esteem, relationship problems and a "limited level of sexual experience" when he killed Sinclair.While behind bars it is reported that he has taken part in rehabilitation programmes to address his violent and sexual behaviour, according to a document which detailed the Parole Board's decision.This was Pollard's sixth review after he first became eligible for parole in 2008.He has so far spent 24 years behind bars.His next parole review will be in two years' time.Speaking back in 2018, Chanelle, 34, said that Mother's Day was a difficult time for her and she felt "anxious" as Pollard was up for parole at the time.She told new!
