Kerry Katona has branded Samantha Markle's defamation case against Meghan Markle as "embarrassing" and says she needs to "leave the past behind her".
Meghan's half-sister Samantha, 58, appeared in a virtual court hearing, and Kerry, 42, shared her thoughts over the case in her column. "It’s reported that the royal family are expecting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend King Charles’ Coronation in May," she says. "I hope they do, as they have every right to be there." She continued: "As you know, I’m a huge supporter of Harry and Meghan and I think critics need to leave them alone. "As for Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, she needs to shut up and leave the past behind." Kerry added: "When I came into the public eye, all sorts of people came out of the woodwork, so I sympathise with Meghan. "It’s embarrassing that she’s bringing a defamation case against her.
Meghan must be mortified." Samantha accused Prince Harry, 38, of not being able to “think like an adult” and described him as a “loose cannon” following the release of his book Spare.
In an interview with GB News, she also said: "I think he [Harry] is lacking in empathy, remorse, and shame. "He is showing a clear disconnect with reality and is so emotionally underdeveloped that he can’t move on from this stage where he has resentment over a whole host of issues.” While Kerry hopes Meghan, 41, and Harry will be appearing at the Coronation, the couple still haven't decided whether they will be there on the day, according to reports.
