Manchester City fan from being trampled on after the club's title win last month. City came back from two goals down at home to Aston Villa on the final day to win 3-2 and claim their fourth Premier League title in five seasons in dramatic fashion.
Thousands of City fans invaded the pitch at the Etihad Stadium following the full-time whistle, with Villa keeper Robin Olsen reportedly assaulted by fans.Amongst those on the pitch was Ollie Gordon, 10, who has autism.
Ollie became separated from his dad, though, with Cancelo noticing he was in danger.Cancelo picked Ollie up, used a "bear hug" to shield him and pushed people away as they looked for his dad, according to Ollie's mum Lauren, who was watching from home.Ollie has since written to the Portugal international to thank him, while Lauren has reflected on the experience, telling the Manchester Evening News: "He took off running, he’s got autism and not aware of dangers or anything so got excited and started running."He goes to the stadium with his dad quite a lot, especially recently.
I was watching on the telly and saw Lee running across the pitch but not Ollie."I was panicking and trying to get hold of his dad.
