Man City owners attempting to buy their 11th football club

Besides City, they already own Girona, New York City, Melbourne City, Troyes, Lommel, Montevideo City Torque, Mumbai City and Sichuan Jiuniu, while also holding a 20 per cent stake in Japanese club Yokohama F.

They were promoted to Serie B recently after winning their Serie C play-off. This follows the club being relegated to Serie D in 2019 after going bankrupt.
