Dena Daniel, the lead nurse for the Ardwick and Longsight Integrated Neighbourhood Team, was given the title earlier this month by the Manchester Local Care Organisation.

The organisation, which is part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), is made up of more than 2,700 staff providing leading adult, health and social care and improving the lives of people in Manchester.Dena says nursing has always been something that she wanted to do especially as she comes from a family of NHS workers. “My dad was a doctor and my mum was a nurse,” Dena tells the Manchester Evening News .
