Inter Milan have turned their attentions to Timo Werner after ending their interest in Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

That will alert Liverpool, who have a longstanding interest in the RP Leipzig forward. Inter have made a new striker a top priority in the summer as they look for Lautaro Martinez replacements.

Despite a €100m release clause, the San Siro outfit expect a battle to keep hold of the Argentine. Barcelona are the favourites to land the 23-year-old but Chelsea are also in the battle.

However, Inter will be left without a forward in Antonio Conte's preferred system with two up top with Romelu Lukaku one of them.
