Frank Lampard was delighted to have agreed a deal with the 24-year-old before the transfer is officially open, adding that move to their deal with Ajax for Hakim Ziyech.
Werner has now posted an image of himself on Twitter practicing with a football in a sunning holiday destination, which has got plenty of reaction from Blues supporters.
One fan said: “He drinks blue. He showers at Blue. He swims in blue. He take pictures in blue.”Another added: “Can’t wait to see you and Kai Havertz in Chelsea shirts next.
