Frank Lampard has already told Timo Werner where he sees him fitting into his Chelsea side. The German admits that the Blues boss was a major factor in his decision to swap Germany for west London.
Werner scored 34 goals for RB Leipzig last season and was linked with Chelsea's domestic rivals Liverpool before Lampard swooped in to secure a £53m deal.
The 24-year-old played as a central striker at Leipzig but his pace means he can be equally as effective from outwide. Werner will face competition from Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud should he eye a place as Chelsea's main man in attack.
