Chelsea have gone quiet over a potential new contract for Antonio Rudiger, plunging his future at the club into doubt.Rudiger has produced a number of alarming displays for the Blues of late, most recently in defeats away at West Ham and Sheffield United - which saw them concede three goals on both occasions.The Germany international’s current deal at Stamford Bridge runs until the summer of 2022, although reports earlier this year suggested he was on the verge of penning an extension.But according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are yet to open contract talks with Rudiger, whose position in Frank Lampard’s long-term plans is becoming somewhat precarious.Lampard, who has already added Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech to his ranks ahead of next.
