Jurgen Klopp suggested Frank Lampard broke football's unwritten rule during their touchline spat on Wednesday night. The Liverpool manager and Chelsea boss engaged in a shouting match at the side of the Anfield pitch, as the Reds ran out 5-3 winners.
Lampard was unhappy with the behaviour of some members of the Liverpool bench, and unleashed an X-rated rant in the direction of the home dugout.
Both managers addressed the incident on Friday, claiming it is all water under the bridge. But Klopp added he was unhappy with the way Lampard broke football's unwritten rule; 'what goes on on the pitch, stays on the pitch', by continuing the argument after the game.
