Jurgen Klopp has admitted he sometimes struggles to deal with the fact his father never saw him become a manager before he passed away.
Norbert Klopp died just a few months before the Liverpool boss got his first job as a coach at German side Mainz in 2001, with Klopp Jr still relatively unknown at that point following a modest playing career.
Since then, however, Klopp has gone on to become one of the best managers in the world, winning nine trophies in total, including two Bundesliga titles with Dortmund and a Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool.
