Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Andy Robertson have opened up about their battles with mental health. The ‘Heads Up’ campaign, which has been spearheaded by Prince William, in encouraging football fans and men in particular to reach out for support if they’re struggling.
Suicide is the biggest cause of death for men under the age of 35, and just over three of four suicides (76%) are by men.Reds left-back Robertson reflected on his own career and how he’s had to deal with difficult moments, especially early on.
Born and raised in Glasgow, the Scotland international developed in Celtic’s academy but was released by the club at under-15 level.
