Damien Duff won two Premier League titles during his three years with Chelsea - but the players would still 'go out and get absolutely lamped', as the former winger recalls.
However, ex-Republic of Ireland star Duff has revealed that he didn't want to be in the English clique of players along with the likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard and Wayne Bridge.
And that was for one simple reason - the England stars referred to themselves as 'The Bulldogs', and as an Irishman he wasn't prepared to take on that nickname. "Even when we were playing 60 or 70 games a season, we were out together on the town and pissed," Duff told the Open Goal podcast. "We'd be out all the time.
