Influencer and son sent death threats as followers rage about hairstyle

An Instagram star was accused of “cultural appropriation” after braiding her son’s hair for a photoshoot. Sarah Stevenson, who goes by the online name Sarah’s Day, also braided her extensions before shooting the campaign alongside White Fox Boutique.

She was branded “disrespectful” by concerned fans, who accused her of deleting negative comments on her post. But after hundreds of critical responses, the Australian influencer issued an apology.
