'I feel violated': Burglars ransacked a family's home while they were away for Christmas

direct to your inboxA mum-of-three has told how burglars ransacked every room in her house during a break-in while the family were away for Christmas.The thieves stole sentimental jewellery - including Marie Mullans's wedding and engagement rings and her daughter's rosary beads and the children's laptop, which was a Christmas present from their grandfather.The break-in took place at the family's home in Moss Nook, Wythenshawe, sometime between noon on Christmas Day and mid-afternoon on December 27.Marie, 44, and her children, all aged under 11, were staying in Yorkshire with her partner, who's in their support bubble, at the time.After smashing the patio doors, the thieves also made off with the children's passports and a spare set of car.
