Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A stabbing in Glasgow is not being treated as terrorism say police.The suspect was shot dead by armed police after the major incident unfolded in the city centre.Numerous people were injured near the Park Inn Hotel on West George Street at around 1pm.Six people are in hospital receiving treatment for their injuries.One of those is a police officer who is in a critical but stable condition.The hotel has been housing asylum seekers during the coronavirus pandemic.Police Scotland tweeted: "The incident in West George Street Glasgow is not being treated as terrorism.
