Number 10 has agreed deal with Transport For London worth £1.6bn after Sadiq Khan warned without a deal tonight the capital's transport system would go under.

It came after the capital's  transport system saw a 90% fall in income because of the coronavirus lockdown. The deal breaks down as £1.1bn cash in cash and a £505m loan.
