ITV has reportedly axed two shows - the celebrity song contest Britain Get Singing and the Saturday Night Takeaway gameshow spin-off Ring My Bell.TV Zone reports that the pilot episode of Ring My Bell may never be broadcast.
The show was anticipated to be a big hit as it would have mirrored the original segment in Saturday Night Takeaway, with producers "hacking" into audience members' doorbell cameras across the nation.A variety of games were planned, including fans racing to be the first person to reach doors, or guessing what happens next in a clip.
The concept is already proven, having been a massive success on Ant and Dec's show - but it is now reportedly a victim of a brutal revamp.Likewise, viewers will be heartbroken to discover that Britain Get Singing is also reportedly cancelled, despite being considered a Christmas Eve staple over the past few years.
Last year, Roman Kemp hosted the action-packed celebrity event, with stars from Good Morning Britain, Love Island, Coronation Street, The Masked Singer, and EastEnders all competing against each other in a spectacular sing-off.
