Millions more Brits are expected to receive the flu jab this year in what the government has called the “biggest” programme ever.
The government said in July it was expanding the vaccine programme in a bit to relieve winter pressures on A&E and emergency care in case of a second spike in coronavirus infections.
More than 30 million people could be vaccinated during the upcoming flu season, although there are reports appointments are delayed - raising concerns of a shortage.
