Detectives have been investigating the shooting on Briscoe Lane, in Newton Heath, since January. Karl Barry Souter, 39, of Henton Walk, Collyhurst, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking without consent and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life/enable another to do so.
