Oli Sykes has launched a new alt club night called ‘GREEBO’ at his Sheffield venue, Church, Temple of Fun.The night will launch on July 9 and will feature a line up curated by Sykes. A press release explained: “With a line up completely curated by him showcasing some amazing artists, you can expect a night full of live music and DJ sets, including himself and Mat Nicholls, returning to the decks following their night in Malta last month.”Sykes said of the night: “The first of many moshtastic ragers I plan to take around UK and the rest of the world.

Bring Me The Horizon have teased a possible US tour for 2025 before they take some “time off”.The Sheffield metal band are already set to headline Reading & Leeds 2025 this summer alongside Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, and Hozier, and will be playing a pair of festival sets in Germany (Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park) too, but in a new interview, drummer Mat Nicholls has suggested there might be more dates on the horizon too.Speaking to Rotherham Radio, he said: “The idea this year was to have some time off, because we’ve literally, since COVID, been non-stop – put a record out last year, constant shows. We’ve ended up with a couple of German festivals, Reading & Leeds festival, and hopefully we’re going to go to America at the end of the year.

The follow-up to 2020’s ‘POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR’ was scheduled to drop last September, following being announced during the band’s headline debut at Download Festival, but was later delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances”.When asked by NME for an update on the new project, Sykes said: “It’s nearly finished, but it’s not finished”.“Every time we think we’ve got it, we get another song,” he added.

Bring Me The Horizon‘s Oli Sykes and Mat Nicholls have announced that they’ve signed up for a charity triathlon to raise money for UKRAINEPRIDE.In August, the singer and drummer will take part in the Allerthorpe Sprint Triathlon, which is described as “one of the fastest-sprint distance triathlon courses” in York.Raising money for the LGBTQ+ charity, Sykes pointed out in an Instagram post today (June 20) that UKRAINEPRIDE “needs all the help it get get right now”.“yooo so me & @mickypickles r doing a triathlon this august,” Sykes wrote alongside a photo of the two bandmates. “We wanted to raise money for 2 causes that r at the forefront of our mind right now so with the help of my good Ukrainian friend @yavashadasha we settled on @ukraine.pride an amazing organisation that supports the LGBT+ movement in Ukraine which as you can imagine needs all the help it can get right now.”He added: “We have never done any kind of marathon/sports event like this so we are pooping our pants just a little, so the more money we raise the more you’ll spur us on to smash it! BandLab NME Awards 2022 award winners Bring Me The Horizon are due to stage their own festival in Malta in May – an event they’ve said will be “like Fyre Festival but with better sandwiches”.The Sheffield band were speaking to NME from the winner’s room after picking up the trophy for Best Band From The UK Supported By Pizza Express.Bring Me’s Malta festival, announced last November, will take place from May 26-30 and feature a full live show and an exclusive retrospective set from the band.Discussing what to expect from the event, drummer Mat Nicholls promised “bingo with Jordan Fish [BMTH keys player]. It’s called ‘Bringo’.”“It’s like Fyre Festival but with better sandwiches,” frontman Oli Sykes added.The festival’s line-up, handpicked by the band, includes Bullet For My Valentine, Beartooth, PVRIS, Motionless In White, Spiritbox, Nova Twins and Wargasm.There will also be a host of club nights, pool party takeovers and boat parties.
