Four coffee shop customers queue separately in matching coats leaving staff in stitches

Staff at a tiny coffee shop must have thought there was a glitch in the matrix when four customers queued up separately all wearing identical mustard yellow coats.

Rebecca Birch had met up with her friend Emily Lawrence for some exercise in Sherborne, Dorset, and the pair were left slightly red-faced when they both turned up in matching jackets.

But when they dropped into Cafe Nero to grab a drink, they found a customer already waiting in line was also wearing a similar yellow bubble coat - and while they were discussing the bizarre coincidence, a fourth woman strolled in to complete the coat quartet.

Mum-of-five Rebecca joked the group were "a ray of sunshine in difficult times", leaving the baristas in stitches as they posed for a picture
