Fiona Phillips has revealed that vicious trolls hounded her on social media while she battled coronavirus. The much-loved TV presenter and personality, 59, was not only fighting for her life after contracting the killer bug - she was also fighting off never-ending hate from heartless keyboard warriors.

The former GMTV host was forced to delete all of her social media platforms due to the extent of abuse she received online. Fiona, who contracted the deadly virus back in March, admitted that she felt as though she was on "death's door".
