Dancing On Ice star Chemmy Alcott has opened up on the no holds barred advice she received from series winner Matthew Wolfenden after she was eliminated from the competition.Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the former ski racer, 39, detailed the words of wisdom she got from Emmerdale star Matthew, 41, who went on to secure the trophy for the series in 2012.When asked how performing on the popular ITV show compared to skiing, Chemmy admitted that she felt out of her element.She said: "You're performing, there's a start to your performance and a start to your race."I was much more comfortable being a ski racer."She went on to explain that she "froze" up after taking to the ice with late partner Sean Rice, after she learnt of the huge viewing figures the show had.Chemmy said: "Whereas with Dancing On Ice, I remember the first time I spaced out there, like, 'There's, you know, over 10 million people tuning in.'"And I just got dry lips, and I froze," she added.The sportswoman told how she didn't have the same problem when she was hurtling down slopes while skiing.She continued: "You don't think about that at all, because you're not doing it for the cameras in skiing."The cameras are there, but you are racing a clock."Your purpose is not entertainment, it's speed," she explained, before adding: "Whereas this show's all about entertaining people tuning in."Chemmy added that she had no idea where the cameras were until after she got eliminated from the show and her co-star Matt gave her some advice.She said: "I didn't even know where the cameras were and I did 10 weeks!"And when I got knocked out, the guy who won it, Matt Wolfenden, said to me, 'Oh, you would have been so much better if you performed to the cameras!'"And I
