Wendy Williams Hunter (born Wendy Joan Williams; July 18, 1964) is an American television host, businesswoman, media personality and author. Since 2008, she has hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a "shock jockette". She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality TV series The Wendy Williams Experience which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.

Wendy Williams is fighting for her money. The 57-year-old talk show host filed an affidavit in New York Supreme Court in support of her attorney Celeste N.

Click inside to read more… “This request for relief arises from, among other things, Wells Fargo’s failure and refusal to reopen my personal, business, deferred compensation and investment accounts and unfreeze my financial assets, which has caused and is causing imminent and irreparable financial harm to myself, my family and my business,” she wrote in the court documents. “For more than two weeks, Wells Fargo has repeatedly denied my requests to access my financial assets, which total over several million dollars.

I have submitted multiple written requests to Wells Fargo and I have visited various Wells Fargo branches in the South Florida area in an effort to resolve this matter outside of the courtroom.” She added that she has “defaulted…on several billing and financial obligations, including, but not limited to, mortgage payments and employee payroll” as a result of being unable to access her money. Wendy claims in her affidavit that she had terminated former financial adviser Lori Schiller “as a result of her improper conduct in relation to my accounts,” adding, “It appears that Schiller was and is disgruntled by this decision for a potential change in direction, and it saddens me that [Wells Fargo] and I have not been able to resolve this controversy amicably.” Find out more about what the bank said about Wendy Williams‘ condition.
