Final Fantasy VII Remake shipped a whopping 3.5 million copies in its first three days on sale – that's no mean feat. If nothing else, those significant numbers really pull into focus just how much appetite there is for this kind of modern remake of a retro classic.
The company calls these numbers "exceptional", and notes that – even now – copies are continuing to sell through and exceed the developer's expectations.
