Fears over 'killer clown' return after man chased down street by make-up weirdo

Families in Essex have reported being stalked by a gang of men in costumes, with people in Laindon claiming to hear the clowns coming down the road as they blare "creepy music" on their way.
The clowns have also been spotted travelling in a van during the middle of the night which has left locals struggling to sleep.One man says he was left traumatised after a group of four clowns chased him down the road at around 2am on Friday (April 29).The 30-year-old said he is now too scared to leave his house and has warned others to "be careful."“I started to run as they were following me, and eventually managed to get away," he explained.“They also had a massive speaker on top of the van which was playing creepy music.“It has made me feel really scared to walk out late at night on my own.
It worries me that this is happening in my area, as it is scary, creepy and weird."Meanwhile, a mother said she has been left frightened after hearing the “ridiculously scary” music outside of her house.She said: “I have four children, and late at night these men are playing ridiculously scary music keeping them awake going around Laindon.“My children now want to move as they are scared.
