And interim manager Rangnick has now addressed the police's investigation into the forward by calling it a “disaster” for the club, Greenwood and his family.Ahead of Saturday's trip to Brighton in the Premier League, Rangnick said: "The issue around Mason was a disaster for everybody.
It was a human disaster, it’s a personal [disaster]."It’s not good for himself, obviously, and for his family it hasn’t been good but it also hasn’t been good for our club.
He was regularly playing at the time."Greenwood’s bail was due to expire on April 30 until police confirmed an application was made to the courts to have the date extended.
