Fearne Cotton has said that she was visited by the ghost of her grandad. The telly presenter was spooked after a painting jumped off her wall and reckons it was him.Fearne, 40, revealed: “I woke up one morning in the little cottage I lived in at the time.“To get to my beloved kitchen-dwelling coffee machine, I had to walk through my living room but on this particular day something stopped me in my tracks.“One of my portraits I had painted, which usually sat to the right of the TV on the wall, was instead in the middle of the room on the floor.“How the hell did this painting jump two-odd metres off the wall by itself?“I lived alone, bar my two moggies, and all the windows were shut without even a hint of a breeze to aid this mysterious manoeuvre.”Spiritual guru Fearne said in her new self-help book Bigger Than Us that she learnt that same morning her beloved grandad had passed and it was a message from him.She explained: “I slowly hung the picture back up and headed to the kitchen to drink caffeine and get my brain in Sherlock Holmes mode to figure out how this could have happened.“I turned my mobile back on while the kettle boiled and my mum rang within seconds.

My beloved grandad Phil Savage had passed away overnight.“My brain started to slot everything into place and, amid the tears, I smiled, knowing that my grandad must have moved the picture in the night to show me a sign he was saying goodbye.“He was the most incredible artist himself, painting large sailing ships crashing through mountainous waves.
