Family pay tribute to grandad who went clubbing into his 70s after his death from COVID

Perth grandfather who still went clubbing in his 70s have paid tribute to him following his death. John Jackson passed away suddenly aged 80 at Ninewells Hospital on December 3.The dad of three died from COVID-19 after initially going into hospital with a suspected blood clot in his leg.Woman left victim with broken nose while man used belt in horrific attack A popular bowler and St Johnstone fan, John was well known about Perth having lived his entire life in the city.

He was born on Glover Street and went on to enjoy success as a bowler for Darnhall and then the West End Bowling Club. He travelled everywhere to watch his beloved St Johnstone, and worked as a steward at the club.
