Families are being urged to take two Covid tests a week while on holidays around the UK to stop the coronavirus spreading. Tourism chiefs are conscious about the need to boost their economies while ensuring local health services are not overwhelmed as families hit the road for summer holidays.
A spokesman for the Lake District National Park Authority said: “We encourage all visitors to continue to take a rapid, asymptomatic Covid-19 lateral flow test twice a week.” Tourism bosses in Cornwall have issued similar advice.
