Pep Guardiola has said that Oleksandr Zinchenko is concerned about the welfare of his family following the outbreak of war in his country.
The Manchester City manager admitted that the Ukraine international is worried for his family and friends following Russia's invasion but that he’s ready to continue giving his all for the Premier League club and feature in the upcoming clash with Everton.
The Citizen's defender, born in Radomyshl, Ukraine, had his hometown subject to military assault by Russia following orders from cowardly President Vladimir Putin.
Guardiola said of Zinchenko: "He is worried. He has family and friends there. If they are killing innocent people in your country, how would you feel?"What we feel with our country where we were born.
