Erik ten Hag sends warning about Manchester United improvement ahead of Arsenal fixture

Erik ten Hag has warned Manchester United's performances will occasionally drop in standard as part of the 'process'. United suffered two humiliating defeats against Brighton and Brentford at the start of the season, but Ten Hag has turned things around at the club with three consecutive Premier League wins against Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester.

The Reds' have won their last two matches 1-0 and while the performances haven't been vintage, Ten Hag's side have defended well and kept two clean sheets.

United now have momentum behind them ahead of playing Arsenal on Sunday. "But we have the intention to play well and you see we are improving and we have to keep doing that game by game. "Some games there will be a downgrade but that’s normal in the process, but as long as the pattern goes high that is what we aim for and work for.
