Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Erik ten Hag believes the partnership of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Jadon Sancho on the left wing is proving dangerous for Manchester United.
Sancho was impressive against Sheriff Tiraspol, opening the scoring with a well-taken goal that had been created by Eriksen after another smart team move.
The 22-year-old impressed as a right-winger in pre-season, but since the £85million signing of Antony he has moved back to the left and he was a constant threat to Sheriff on Thursday night. READ MORE: United player ratings vs Sheriff Tiraspol "Jadon has so much potential.

"The second thing is he scores a lot of goals in pre-season, he continues in the moment in the season, he’s more secure, we can play over him, that left side with Tyrell and Christian Eriksen, I was happy with that triangle and how they moved together." Sancho missed out on an England recall earlier on Thursday, but his performance was a timely reminder to Gareth Southgate.
