An Edinburgh nightclub has launched a new initiative to prevent revellers from having their drinks spiked on nights out. WhyNot, which is based on George Street in the capital, has released details of its Nightwatch scheme.Customers will be able to log in to the website on their phone to report any issues that they did not report to security or management on the night.

Posters with a link and a QR code will be placed across the nightclub for anyone that feels the need to use the facility. Its introduction comes after a growing number of reports of spiking incidents in nightclubs and bars across Scotland.
