EastEnders has found itself in the firing line after airing a controversial scene about Covid-19 and the rise of anti-vaxxers who oppose all types of the life saving coronavirus vaccine.
The BBC have been hit with a flurry of complaints by irate viewers who thought the section was not suitable for the BBC soap to show.
Earlier this week fans saw red after EastEnders regulars Patrick Truman talk to Suki Panesar about getting the Covid jab.Patrick, played by Rudolph Walker, was asked why he was in such high spirits to which he revealed had just had his second Covid jab.
Suki was also cheered to find out she was getting her first shot of the vaccine later that day. She beamed in the Minute Mart: "I’m calling it my superpower.
