Chris Hemsworth

Christopher Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor. He rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series Home and Away (2004–07) before beginning a film career in Hollywood by taking on parts in the science fiction film Star Trek (2009) and the thriller A Perfect Getaway (2009).

Hemsworth went on to star in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), the war film Red Dawn (2012), the action thriller Blackhat (2015), the biographical thriller In the Heart of the Sea (2015), the comedy Ghostbusters (2016), and the Men in Black film series spin-off Men in Black: International (2019). His most critically acclaimed roles include the comedy horror The Cabin in the Woods (2012) and the biographical sports film Rush (2013), in which he portrayed James Hunt.

Ukrainian soldier's beating heart during a life-saving operation.The highly-skilled team of medics managed to remove the shrapnel from the wounded troop at Feofaniya Hospital in Kyiv.

The soldier was rushed into open-heart surgery after he was shot fighting on the frontline in the Russia-Ukraine war. Incredible footage of the procedure shows his heart still pumping blood around his body as the surgeons gently tease the pellet out with tools before placing the small fragment into a dish.Belarusian doctor Maksim Paulouski was reportedly among the medics who performed the complicated surgery.Miraculously, the brave soldier was later pictured standing alongside the team who saved his life, smiling while wearing dressings and chest support.

Reports also claim he was later seen pottering about shortly after.But despite his near-death experience, the soldier reportedly claims that he is still "eager to fight" for his beloved country which remains under siege by Russia.The news comes after a Ukrainian make-up blogger's body has been identified by her unique manicure after she was killed by a blast from a Russian tank.Iryna Filkina, 52, dreamed of becoming a popular beauty influencer and regularly posted makeup tutorials on social media.For the latest breaking news stories and incredible tales from the Daily Star, sign up for our newsletter by clicking here.But tragically the woman's body was identified in a harrowing picture of her hand covered in dirt following a blast by Russian troops on March 5.Her red and pink nails, complete with a heart on her index finger helped to identify her as she had posted a picture with the same look just days before.According to Sky News, more than 130 bodies – all civilians – have been retrieved.
