A 'devoted dad' became a drug dealer after his cannabis use spiralled, a court heard. Liam Rose, 30, who previously worked in a call centre, started dealing to fund his own habit.
Rose, from Rochdale, was stopped by police in Salford after they spotted him in a Ford being driven 'suspiciously'. READ MORE : After officers smelt cannabis they searched the car, where Rose had been a passenger.
Police seized 10 wraps of cannabis worth up to £240, and a claw hammer in the driver's seat. Cash totalling £670.50 was also found, as well as mobile phones.
After being arrested in October last year, Rose told police he used cannabis and that he had withdrawn the cash previously for birthday presents.
