Bournemouth boss Scott Parker has confirmed that Morgan Rogers has returned to Manchester City — but remains technically on loan at the Cherries.
Rogers, 19, joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan in the summer, but found starts difficult to come by as Parker's men chase promotion to the Premier League.
He's made just 17 appearances, with just three of those coming from the start and only four more totalling cameos of more than 15 minutes.
In all, he's averaged just 17 minutes per outing for Bournemouth, and in January he was omitted from their 25-man Championship squad — meaning he cannot play for them for the remainder of the season.
