Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren admits that there is competition between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, but says that competition is to the benefit of the Premier League champions.
Lovren has left Anfield join Russian outfit Zenit Saint Petersburg this summer, ending a six-year stay on Merseyside. During that time he formed a close bond with Salah following the Egyptian's move from Roma in the summer of 2017, one year after Mane had joined the Reds from Southampton in a £34million move.
The pair, along with Roberto Firmino, have gone on to form one of the deadliest attacks in world football as Jurgen Klopp's side picked up the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League this year.
