Sports Team have announced their ‘Friendship tour’ dates in support of their forthcoming second album ‘Gulp‘.The indie rockers have an 11-date run scheduled across the UK and Ireland between October 11 and 25, 2022. Ahead of that, they play 17 shows in the US from mid September until early October, with dates kicking off in Atlanta on September 16.In the UK the band will play shows in Leeds Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Southampton, Bristol, Norwich, London, Belfast and Dublin.

Pale Waves have announced details of their third studio album, ‘Unwanted’, with the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Who Am I?’ due to be released on August 12 via Dirty Hit.To coincide with the announcement, the band have shared the album’s first single ‘Lies’, which was previously teased last month.The group shared two previews on their official TikTok account, with the song’s chorus (“You called it love but it never had a feeling/ Ripped out my heart and left it bleeding“) playing over the videos.The track was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Zakk Cervini, who has worked with the likes of Blink-182, Halsey and Machine Gun Kelly. Kendal Calling 2021 has been cancelled, the festival’s organisers have confirmed.The event, which had been due to take place from July 29-August 1, had been set to welcome the likes of Supergrass, The Streets and Blossoms this summer.In a statement released this morning (June 21), Kendal Calling’s organisers told ticketholders that they were “so sorry”.“Last Monday saw the delay of the so-called ‘Freedom Day’. As Kendal Calling sits outside of this delay we would still be in a strong position to proceed,” the statement reads.
