Liverpool are ready to splash the cash to land Ismaila Sarr, according to The Sun. The Senegal star has had a £40million price tag slapped on his head after Watford ’s relegation from the Premier League.
Sarr, who scored twice as the Hornets ended Liverpool ’s unbeaten run at Vicarage Road back in February, has reportedly been preferred to Wolves ace Adama Traore due to his ability to play both centrally and out wide.
That could see him add a flexible and explosive option to Liverpool’s dynamic attacking trio. And he comes with a strong recommendation from international team-mate and close friend Sadio Mane.
Speaking after Sarr arrived in England last summer with Watford, Mane warned team-mate Andy Robertson that Sarr could “kill him”
