Chelsea have slapped an ambitious price-tag on Timo Werner after learning that the German wants to leave the club at the end of the season. The Blues are willing to grant Werner's wish but only if they receive an offer of at least £33million - significantly lower than the £47.5million they spent on him just under two years ago.The 26-year-old has seen his first-team opportunities dwindle since the summer arrival of Romelu Lukaku, but even when the Belgian striker isn't available Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has opted for Kai Havertz up front instead, and according to German website Sport 1, Werner is ready to call it quits.It comes just a few days after the striker admitted that the playing style used by Germany manager Hansi Flick is a better fit for his skillset than the role Tuchel asks him to play, following his goal against Israel at the weekend.And it shows.
