A couple bought a triangular shaped house nobody else wanted - next to a brothel - and turned it into a property fit enough to be rented out on Airbnb.

Gareth Shaw kept the neighbours a secret from wife Nayra as he convinced her they should shell out on the project property. And the 46-year-old loves what they did with the Cardiff building.Gareth, a consultant from the Welsh town of Dinas Powys, said: "It had only just come on the market, but a lot of property developers had viewed it before us and they had all rejected the house."Everybody else didn't want it, I guess it was difficult to see the potential but I loved it.

The unusual shape was the most intriguing thing and I knew straight away I wanted it."I had viewed it originally by myself, because my wife Nayra didn't like it so I knew that I also had to convince her to buy an unusual shaped house." Gareth and Nayra were already aware of the house and its bizarre shape, as most people who live in the surrounding area do, because at that time they lived nearby, Wales Online reports.
