Dashcam footage has revealed the moment police officers chased a car through Manchester city centre before arresting four men from inside.
In the early hours of Sunday morning (March 17) officers from the Roads Policing Unit were made aware of the vehicle on its way to the city, with occupants believed to be linked to a series of thefts from nightclubs across Merseyside.
A short police pursuit followed, and items believed to be stolen phones were then thrown from the car windows in attempt to hide them from police. Greater Manchester Police said investigation work is ongoing to return these to their rightful owners. Using specialist tactics, police from GMP and Cheshire Constabulary were able to safely bring the vehicle to a stop.
