Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor has admitted she had to call time on boozy nights during lockdown after opening a bottle of wine "nearly every night".
The mum-of-three, who plays Sally Webster on the cobbles, said she and Emmerdale scriptwriter husband Tim found themselves knocking it back at dinner.She added: "Yes, we had to put an end to that after a while because nearly every night we were like, 'Oh right, it’s wine time', and we’d open a bottle."You don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen making a meal and then not have a glass of wine with it."Sally, 57, said she tried to keep herself busy during the pandemic with food, games and even performing plays for strangers on the phone.She explained: "I ate a lot of cheese.
