Volodymyr Zelenskyy appears to have followed chart-topping singer Madonna on Instagram after she uploaded a video montage of the Ukraine crisis alongside clips of herself dancing to her hit song, Sorry.
Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine that took place on Thursday, (February, 24) Madonna, 63, showed her support to the country.The Like A Virgin singer also condemned Vladimir Putin's actions while urging her fans to donate to humanitarian charities.In the short video, Madonna can be seen wearing a tightly fitted purple leotard which she recites the lyrics from her popular song.But the clip also features victims from the current crisis covered in blood as well as footage of President Putin and Adolf Hitler - with Hitler’s face often superimposed on to Putin's.Throughout the video, the mother-of-six could be seen dancing and striking seductive poses while text from the lyrics of her song appeared boldly on screen.
Captioning the post, the star wrote a lengthy message which read: "Russia's Pointless and Greed Driven Invasion Of the Ukraine MUST be stopped!!"Please Send in Humanitarian Aid to help millions of citizens of the Ukraine who’s lives are being affected by this CRISIS at this very moment!!"The Hollywood icon then went on to criticise Putin as a president and his leadership.She continued: "Putin has Violated Every Human Rights Accord in Existence.
