Conor McGregor has been told that he would be "demolished" by Kamaru Usman if he came up against the UFC welterweight champion.

MMA star McGregor has been out of action since last summer, when he suffered a gruesome broken leg in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.

After several months of recovery, the Irishman is back in training and preparing for his next bout in the UFC.He may have lost several months of his career, but the Dubliner clearly still has the confidence which has helped him to become one of the biggest personalities in world sport.

Despite his long layoff and having lost three of his last four fights, McGregor still believes he should be given a title shot immediately.He told TheMacLife: "Kamaru Usman I believe that's the fight to make.
