Conor McGregor has appeared in court charged with driving offences including two counts of dangerous driving. The UFC star was stopped by gardai as he travelled in his Bentley Continental GT on the N4 in west Dublin earlier this year.

McGregor appeared at Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin for a two-minute hearing on Thursday morning (April 7). The 33-year-old fighter is charged with two counts of dangerous driving on March 22, as well driving without insurance and a licence and failing to produce a certificate of insurance or licence.

Garda Denis Lordan told the court this morning that the four charges were put to McGregor, who made no reply to each charge and was handed a copy of the charge sheet.

McGregor’s solicitor Michael Staines told the court his licence and insurance were shown to police on Thursday morning. READ MORE: Attorney General wins bid to block BBC identifying 'MI5 informant' District Judge David McHugh adjourned the case and remanded McGregor on continuing bail.
