UFC star Nate Diaz has requested to be released from the championship’s boss Dana White, nine months on from his last fight.
Diaz has seemingly run out patience with White, after last taking to the octagon all the way back in June 2021.The American’s previous outing last summer also ended in defeat, after he lost on points to Englishman Leon Edwards in Phoenix.
Following his loss Diaz is no doubt keen to get back out there and fight but believes he now has to do that elsewhere.Taking to Twitter to announce his frustrations with White and the UFC he said: “I would like to request to be released from the @ufc @danawhite @hunter.
I apologise for asking online but u don’t give me a fight asap I got s*** to do.”According to a report from MMAJunkie the 36-year-old still has one fight left on his current UFC contract, and in February revealed he wanted to take on Dustin Poirier before he bows out.
